Allerton Park October Wedding | Kerrigan & Tanner

Kerrigan & Tanner – Two of the most personable, determined and loving people are MARRIED!

They met at church the summer before their freshman year of high-school, and were the best of friends. Kerrigan was pretty shy and it look a LOT of hinting for Tanner to finally make a move. They dated for two years, and then took a little time to grow. They then got back together after a trip to Haiti. Their second first date was a picnic under the stars. (I don’t think you could have a better first date) Tanner then took Kerrigan back and proposed at the same spot they had their picnic by recreating the date. Kerrigan at one point told Tanner that when she was 13 she saw him as her future husband. It’s true, when you know.. YOU KNOW!

The two got married at Engelbrecht Farm. It was a PERFECT day with beautiful weather, and the most happy and goofy wedding party. The wedding colors were terracotta and gold with lots of greenery; and they matched the time of year PERFECTLY! Kerrigan fell in love with Allerton Park, an hour down south to do portraits. It was BREATHTAKING and totally worth the drive! I could have spent the entire day shooting there! We did their first look, wedding party, and a sibling recreation shot at the park before we headed back for the ceremony.

The reception was fun, full of a lot of dancing and the SWEETEST speech by Kerrigan and Tanner’s dads. You can just tell how much love is shared between their two families; and you all know I love big families! Ending the day with a BEAUTIFUL sparkler exit. All together we couldn’t have asked for a better day, and I just want to say again congratulations to the happy couple!

This place gives me total Secret Garden vibes! Anyone else?
