I love births. I really think I love them even more than I love photographing newborns. Getting to be present in the first few moments of someone’s life is truly an experience that I can’t even put in to words. Those that have been there, know what I mean. Sweet little Sylvia gave her Mama and Daddy a bit of a rough time when she was making her way into the world. Mom (who is a ROCKSTAR) ended up having a c-section so while I wasn’t able to be in the OR for the actual delivery, I was there and ready to go minutes later. As you can see, Daddy was a bit happy!
So was Grandma, Grandpa, and her Auntie!
I can’t say I blame them! She is pretty dang perfect after all!
“Hey there lady! What the heck are you doing with that thing in my face?”
First bath! She wasn’t too sure about it at first, but once the nurse started washing her she was ANGRY! She sure made herself very clear.
All was right in the world again once Daddy was near!
Look at this 5 pound, 3 ounce perfect little lady!
Thank you so much Jordan and Dylan for letting me be there to capture the first few hours of your beautiful baby girl’s life!
I am now booking newborns and births into October 2017 with very limited availability! If you or someone you know is expecting, it’s best to book early! Booking early gives us time to plan a session together that you will truly love. Let’s work together to document this special time in your life!
